ABBA concert in Vejle, Denmark on January 14th 1975
- We only sold about 800 tickets for this concert, which was rather disappointing, Steen Wittrock recalls. Not long after I organized a concert with Svenne and Lotta, where we sold twice as many tickets!
Svenne Hedlund was a singer in the band Hep Stars together with, among others, Benny Andersson, who was later part of ABBA.

The local newspaper Vejle Amts Folkeblad wrote: "Huge success for ABBA. With an international class show, the Swedish group takes the audience by storm."
Wittrock had established himself in the industry in the 1970s and got a number of Swedish and Norwegian artists in his stable In 1974 he opened an office in Copenhagen.
Among his artists were Wenche Myhre, Lill Lindfors, Östen Warnerbring and Sylvia Vrethammer. Wittrock also got in touch with names such as Roger Whittaker, Deep Purple and James Last.
Wittrock was behind a number of concerts in Fyens Forum, Fyns Forsamlingshus and in Idrættens Hus in Vejle. Later Steen Wittrock became personal manager for Brdr. Olsen (Olsen Brothers) also from Odense, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in the year 2000.
At The Olsen Brother's 50th years Jubilee Show from Parken in Copenhagen in 2017 Björn Ulvaeus were among those who sent surprice greetings on a big screen.
- The Olsen Brothers are the Everly Brothers of Europe. They have a unique sound, Björn Ulvaeus explains.
